September has been a good month for A Little Bookish, A Little Writerly. In one month of rebranding, I’ve connected with more people, written more posts and designed more graphics than I have in previous months. For me, that means this month was a huge success.
Let’s take a look at what was posted this month!
Reviews
I wrote four reviews this month. Two were for sequels, one was for an e-ARC and one review was a flash review of the whole series.
Prodigy 3/5
Unravel Me 5/5
The Unfortunate Decisions of Dahlia Moss 5/5
Leviathan, Behemoth & Goliath 5/5
Posts
I wrote six non-review blog posts this month. Three Top Ten Tuesday posts, which is a fun weekly tag that I hope to keep up when I have something valuable to contribute. One award, one tag and one very very ambitious TBR! 🙂 Here they are:
Finished Series I Have Yet to Finish
The Secret Life of a Book Blogger
Next Month
Looking ahead to next month, I will be introducing an original new tag that is geared towards all my writerly friends. So be on the look out for that! I hope all you writers will consider participating in the tag, because I really enjoy meeting other writers and I would love to get to know those within my writing community better.
I am also hopeful to write more reviews, participate in more blog hops, create a fun tag or two, have an equally over ambitions October TBR as September’s was and just share my love of writing and books with more people!
I’m so excited to see that you loved the Leviathan trilogy! I just bought all three of the books the other day without really doing any research on them. I’ve been wanting the hardcover editions for a while, simply because they look beautiful and when I saw a signed hardcover copy of Goliath I HAD to get it.
The sad thing was that the first two books (also signed) were only available in paperback. I’ve complained about this so many times to so many people, but I was so frustrated by that! It turns out that in Australia, the hardcovers for Leviathan and Behemoth are out of print but Goliath is printed only in hardcover format. WHAT?! I bought them anyway but the size difference is ridiculous… so I think I’ll have to eventually order the first two in hardcover from Book Depository or something (goodbye to another $60).
I really need to stop complaining about this now.
OMG Yes, loved the series and I want all hardcovers too! I don’t blame you that would frustrate me too! I borrowed all of them from the library and I die a little inside each time I have to return the books that I love, especially when I like their covers. So no need to worry about complaining because you should validated to these ears!! Lol. And definitely hit me up when you start reading through the series, I would love to fangirl over our fav parts! 🙂
The faces on the covers are a little bit cheesy but who cares? They’re so shiny and the end-papers are beautiful!
Will definitely let you know all my thoughts when I get around to reading it.
I love all the illustrations inside! Sometimes I would just spend time staring at them to really appreciate all the details 🙂
