Top Ten Books of 2015 That Are Sure to Knock-Your-Socks-Off (Because I’m Still Looking For Mine)

This Week’s Prompt: Top Ten Books I Read in 2015

toptentuesday

10. The Raven Boys

Because I had so many feels… for so many reasons… for so many characters…that I don’t even know where to start.

9.  The Unfortunate Decisions of Dahlia Moss

Because I laughed throughout the book and thoroughly enjoyed all the nerdiness that I caught onto because deep down, I’m a total geek (wherein no one is surprised).

8.  An Ember in the Ashes

Because Elias is awesome and if he were a real person, well, that would be just fine by me. Also, because I was under the impression that I could reenact those epic battle scenes. How foolish of me. (Fight scenes are not for the uncoordinated).

7. If I Stay

Because, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; this book broke my  heart. And I loved it.

6. The Wrath & The Dawn

Because I loved that this book made me go from these feelings about someone:

To these feelings about them:

A little backstory. That was all it took and I melted into a puddle.

5. Gambit

Because Willow made me proud to read her. She was strong, she made mistakes and I was like, “YAY for realism.”

4. Assassin’s Blade

Because it destroyed me. Look, I don’t want to talk about it. The wounds are still too fresh. Afterwards, my feelings were akin to this:

3. Unravel Me

Because Warner the psychopath is, well, less of one? Hmmm… I feel like I should reevaluate that, but there were just so many feels from this book. And that ending?!?

giphy (26)

2. Six of Crows

Because Kaz is a dark little bunny who needs someone to hug him. And now I’m officially a fan of heists.

1. Red Rising

Because I’m still living in the aftermath of the book hangover this one gave me.

I also hope that you get a chance to read one of the books I mentioned. They’re truly awesome. I can’t even. I don’t know where to begin. Lol. If you do get around to reading one of them, please let me know your thoughts! I love love love talking about books I’ve read with other people who’ve read them too. ^.^

HAHAHA I loved the one for Six of Crows. Those are my exact thoughts about Kaz! *hugs to chest*
Great list of books too. I loved so many of them and want to read the rest! I'm hoping to marathon The Raven Cycle before the year is over. I've heard such amazing things about the whole series and I can't wait to experience it for myself.
